Overview Smart Operator is a PC console designed specifically for the DCS and 400si. It will greatly enhance the ease of handling calls and supports Supervised transfer, Park call, Transfer to voice mail and to Off-system numbers via keyboard and mouse. A multi colored display provides an immediate highly visible view of each station status and each incoming calls' information such as ringing, recalling, holding, and any possible CID/ANI/DNIS information associated with the call .A virtually unlimited directory list with easy search by typing the first few letters of the name makes directory look up simple and quick. |

| Real Time Display of Calling Party Information The activity lists displays every call that is ringing, holding or recalling to the Operator. All information related to the calling party is displayed including ANI/DNIS and name. Active Directory Operator can transfer calls via a virtually unlimited directory of names. Searches can be performed based on alpha searches of Last name, First name, extensions, department and pager number. Additionally, the directory maintains cell phone, pager and alternate numbers as well as extension numbers and can transfer to the number chosen. Directory information may be imported from a file or network location. Real time Display of Extension Status Smart Operator is capable of displaying the status of every extension within the directory as well as on a Busy Lamp Field. Color coding ensures rapid identification of the status of every extension. BLF information includes:

Whenever someone dials 911 Smart Operator will generate an alarm sound,also display which station dialed 911.This is not only becoming increasingly critical but also a legal requirement normally costing hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
